It's beautiful, isn't it?  Galveston Island Historic Pleasure is one of the MUST VISIT Places in TX.  They have nice beach, nice restaurants around, a them park kids would go crazy for it.   GIHP features features family-oriented attractions including rides, midway games, a wide selection of food venues and retail shops.  A great place to spend the whole day here.

It says on their website that Ride hours are seasonal and are subject to change without notice. Select a date on the calendar to view hours for that day. 

I just check a few date in October, 2012, they are closed on certain date, so please check the calendar before you visit this place. 


Rides & Amusements

 Believe me, I was flying over the Gulf of Mexico, oh, I took a few rides, it's fun but make me want to throw up, but kids love it. !!!!

If you like seafood, you will love Bubba Gump Shrimp, the food is good but a little bit expensive.  It's worth it.

Note:

1. If you plan to spend all day there, make sure bring lots of water and put sun block, all the rides are outside.

2.  Most of the rides are for kids, some for young kids like (age 2-6), so if adult do not want to pay for the ride, they have the tickets with no rides.
